Senri High School shared by Kelsey Greer
Shared by Kelsey Greer: Friday, July 17: Today us students went back to school and visited Senri High School. There, we attended different classes, including English writing, speaking, chemistry, and math. Then, we stood and watched the students line up in perfect lines on the soccer field and stand in the rain throughout the end-of-the-year assembly. After lunch with our host students, we experienced different parts of Japanese culture, including origami, calligraphy, yukata (the traditional dress), and cando (a martial art). Some Senri students gave presentations about food, dress, and music, and we even played Jeopardy! After this great second last day of school, we went home with our host families and experienced true Japanese life.
