July 16 Photos - Nara

Please read the comment at the bottom of these photos from Nara.

This is a good photo of Tamami in action, holding our stuff while we visit the washroom.

Here are the winners of the Super Osaka Scavenger Hunt relaxing after their hard won victory. Tess and Kelsey overcame many challenges in winning the award. Note to next year's planners: we need to change some of the directions!

At the end of the day we had a good time in the karaoke room listening to Kelsey and "Gizzard" belt out great tunes.

Tess and Kelsey, as part of their victory celebration, decided everyone needed to go to Starbucks after karaoke. I don't think the drinks kept anyone up an extra minute, as we were all exhausted.

Time is running short here in Japan so I am posting these with very little comment. In Nara we saw the world's largest bronze Budha statue and the oldest surviving wooden building, dating back to around 670 AD. We also experienced the free ranging deer which would first bow, as if requesting food, then poke you with their antlers to prod you along. We all decided it was dangerous to hold any of the deer crackers in your hand because the deer would quickly be right in your face.
